Yay! It's that time of year again when we gather to celebrate the energy and teachings of Kuthumi Lal Singh, Ascended Master and Celestial Comedian. Why do we do this in July? Well July 2006 was when I ventured to Colorado to attend the Crimson Circle Midsummer Conference. One night at around 2am, as I struggled to get some sleep, Kuthumi came to visit and thus began our work together. This year marks our second anniversary and I am resisting the urge to drag out a thesauraus to help me list all the superlatives I would love to use to describe this year's K-Fest.
I put out the call for artists to come forward and take part and they did. This year we have ten contributors from Portugal, Slovenia, USA, Finland, England, Scotland and Romania. Not only are the people diverse but their creations show the wealth of talent and creativity that is the new energy. Some creations co-incided with the celebration whilst others were created especially for it.
Louise joins us once again with an opening address to get things moving with a message from Kuthumi. We then party through Mateja's book which invites us to laugh at our spiritual journey. Jessica shares the magic that went into creating the painting that Kuthumi chose for the cover of his memoirs. Anthony delights us with his new Kuthumi creatures. Rupert unwittingly took a photo of he and Kuthumi embracing then delighted Kuthumi with a photo of one of his favorite past-times; dancing. Alexandra and Dan share the new energy through a Kuthumi channel that tells the story of artists, while Kari takes his turn doing PR for Kuthumi's workshops. Rebecca offers you all a gift to celebrate your creativity. What better way to end the festivities than with a refreshing walk through a garden designed just for Kuthumi by Gael.
As I began to work on pulling all these contributions together today 500,000 people gathered in Sydney with another billion joining via television to celebrate sunday Mass with the Pope. I kind of like that I was working on celebrating the new energy with my amazing teacher while that was happening.
So go grab a glass of wine and a cigar, or perhaps a coffee and some Turkish Delight and make yourself comfortable. This celebration could take a while!
Opening Address by Kuthumi and Louise
Dearest Darlings, I return for the Kuthumi Fest 2008 with some words from our dear friend, Kuthumi Lal Singh. I send you all huge hugs, Louise.
'Oh, yes, I am here. I am the one you call Kuthumi and I am here to celebrate once more Kuthumi. Hahahaha. So dearest ones, it has been a year or so since your last celebration of me and I see that you have been having quite a time of it. Your beauty and eagerness to create on earth is brilliantly touching and supremely impressive on this side of the veil. We are a bit surprised in fact that so many of you are still on earth, and are extremely happy to see that you have chosen to stay. For you are the ones who carry the torch of the new expanded energy. You are the ones who lead the way into an energy that is exploding in every direction all at once across the earth, across the universe, and way, way beyond. You are the ones who have brought this energy into its manifestation through your allowing and your love and your compassion. Sometimes during what you call this past year, you have felt as if you are carrying a heavy load on your back while climbing up a mountain. And yes, for some of you this has been true, in a way because you have chosen not to let the load go. You still are attached to it and you still love it. That is okay. Love your load if you choose. Hahaha. Or feel in your sweet heart if you would like to be free of your load by the next celebration of me. For I, Kuthumi Lal Singh will say to you that the message I give you today is the word "freedom". Yes, "freedom". This expanded energy on earth at this time, and it expresses itself more fully in each second, each nano-second of your so-called time, this ever-expanding energy invites you to take a dive into freedom. Freedom of the soul. Yes, freedom of the soul. I have asked my dear correspondent to speak to you more deeply on this "freedom of the soul" and she tells me she is willing to do so, so you can look forward to our words together in the days to come. But dear ones, now is the moment to release that load from your back truly and forever if you so choose. You see, you have been feeling perhaps that you have released all there is to release over these past months or years, but to be perfectly clear, you have not done so. You love your "burden" so much that you want to keep it by your side, or on your back or even on top of your head. You want to feel that you are free, but you are just beginning to sense what freedom really is, as you read these words. If you are choosing to allow these words into your self, you are giving permission to you to begin to allow the true meaning of freedom into your life and your being, as a human angel of magnificent accomplishment and beauty. For this is who you are, and this beginning of a new sense of what "freedom" truly means, is my gift to you on this day. Enjoy it. Untie the wrapping you have wound around your "burden" and let it drop to the floor. Open the new gift of freedom from your honoring and eternally loving friend, Kuthumi. I walk by the side of each one of you, dear angels as you create so magnificently this new era of expansion on earth. My love and eternal honor and gratitude to you. Namaste.'
"Things tend to happen straight away for me and so here is a picture that I took this afternoon. A short while after taking it I heard,"'it's a picture of us both"- me and him. Isn't that sweet!

Can you tell us how and why you created your book?
Writingthis book was really something I can only describe as easy & fun. A lot of times my sister and I had fun and laughed at our selves saying how fun it would be to make a book about it. It has always seemed to us that the spirituality around us is so darn serious and elevated and ours was full of funny adventures and so unperfect, that we had a lot of laghs at our spiritual awakening and all the chalenges it brings. So one day I said to myself,if these memories amuse me this much why not write about them? I didn't really think about making an actual book, I was just writing and laughing at all the adventures that crossed my spiritual journey. These stories were just resting in my computer for a long time, but after I once mentioned what I was writing about to my brother, who is really not a 'spiritual fan', the rest was finally over. He kept asking me when the book will be finished.Ok, I said to myself, the book is finished. So let it go into the world! And it did!
The book was a collaboration between you, the artist and the designer. I am struck by how seamless the blend of words, art and layout work together. What was working as part of a group like?
This was the first time that I have experienced such an amazing synergy at creating something. Until then I didn't even imagine it was possible, for I am pretty much an individualist and not very fond of compromise. But we didn't need to make compromises here anyway. It was so great how everything was going smoothly and how all three of us had so much fun creating our own thing. It was the first time all three of us worked together and it wasn't planned, it happened spontaneously. I wrote the stories with an unbelievable ease. My sister thought they were really funny and she said she drew them easily and with a lot of laughter. We didn't really talk about the possibilities of putting together the stories and the drawings, I simply wrote the stories which inspired my sister to draw them. After my daughter who is a designer read my stories and saw the drawings, it has inspired her to put them together into the final creation which is now available as an e-book. It just happened, we inspired one another to express our creativity. As simple as that!
Many people let their doubts stop their creations. Did you at anytime feel this? If you did how did you overcome these feelings? Oh yeah, that happened too. Not while creating it but after the book was already prepared to be presented to people. We hadn't lost our enthusiasm when we offered it to some of the Slovenian publishers but none of them wanted to publish it. Some of them didn't even send us an answer, and some of them told us that the book is very nice but that despite that they haven't decided to publish it. That is when we started having doubts. Who is this book for? The publishers who publish spiritual literature don't wantpeople laughing at spirituality. And the people who aren't close to spirituality aren't interested in it, for they don't even know what the book is talking about. That was the kind of doubt that we had but every time we opened the book, we felt it was worth being seen by other people as well and that such an easy collaboration with so much fun making it wasn't supposed to end up as just one more document on the home computer. We managed to break through the time of doubts by translating the book into English and it started to move on. People who have helped us to finish this product, showed up on the way. Jean Tinder kindly offered her help and proofread our book free of charge. She has sent us an encourageing message/letter, where she wrote, that she had a lot of fun reading the book and that she wishes us all the best. Some time ago I have translated my friend Carol Walczak's book 'Choose to Live' into Slovenian and that was how I got the idea for selling our book through lulu.com, like Carol did with hers. Actually what helped me through the doubts is working in the direction that was leading towards making our project real. I didn't stop much at rejections, I didn't pay much attention to it, I was focused on believing that there will come a way to offer this book to the people. And it did.
What did you learn about yourself through creating this book? First of all I learned that writing is my true passion. Creating this book reminded me that humour is a big part of me. Before I just could not find that 'easy button', but writing this book really showed me that it wasn't just a nice sounding term but that in life you really can manifest something so easily and smoothly. Through this book I've experienced what I knew inside but didn't know how to live it. That's to just not worry about making it real, not to stop when obstacles appear but to just do what I love to do and put all my attention into finishing the project. I wrote the book with an amazing ease and had no need to watch over on what my sister'sdrawings will look like, not even on how my daughter will design it. But once the book was published I caught myself'hanging over it', checking how many people visited the presentation. So I have learned that after you give something life you also need to let go. I learned that not until you do that, the creating procces is done.
What gifts has the book bought to you since it has been released?
I can call back all of the feelings I had while creating it any time and they are just as alive as they were while I was writing it. Whenever I feel down or it's hard for me, the memory comes back on it's own and tickles me a bit. What is that thing you like to say? That it's good to find a way to laugh at yourself every once in a while. Could you do that now? This is a very nice gift and this book keeps giving it. Writing these answers for Kuthumi Fest2008 is also one of the gifts. What a great gift! One of the gifts is this book connecting me with wonderful people all over the world. I have a lot more of what I love to do, coming to me- translating inspiring material from English to Sloveneia also a great gift. One of them is me being more aware of who I amand what I want for myself and going towards it a lot more courageously then I used to in the past. And the gift of all the gifts. Now I finally have the courage to leave behind the job of a schoolteacher, that I have been doing for 24 years and start a new path. As a matter of fact, todayI quit my job! Yaaay!
"However it is with ol' Kuthumi, I see him as these duck creatures. Always makes me laugh. Couldn't get the word Duck Bunny out of my head for a week or so before the Kuthumi Fest announcement....guess he & I really were getting ready for the big show!!"
Last year Jessica and I bounced emails back and forth as I interviewed her for Kuthumi Fest. It was during this time as I looked at her paintings on her gorgeous website that Kuthumi spoke quite clearly to me, "Jessica will do our next book cover!" He was speaking of the first volume of his memoirs that we at the time had just began. In January I spoke to Jessica about this and I started to look through her site to choose just which painting would join our creation. Kuthumi's brief to me was that it would have reds in it, while I needed space for titles. Jessica then sent me an email saying "Here are some new ones to look at." There in Jessie's new email was the perfect painting...in more ways than I imagined. Kuthumi's memoirs are not just about the stories of his lives but how his experiences all came together to lead him to becoming the teacher that he is now and the painting expresses this just as Kuthumi would have wanted the reader to picture it. I am very excited to introduce "J'Encore" by Jessica Simanowski as our art work. I now have the original art work in my home as it has made it's way from Portugal to Australia to sit above the desk where Kuthumi and I write. In front of you it is even more delicate and heart touching. It is Kuthumi's and my pleasure to now have Jessie tell the story of how this painting came to be.
"For quite some time it happened that at night in my dreamstate I would go to visit a village from the past. Every night in my dreams I was going back to that little village and said hello to all the people living in there. I knew in my dream that these stories in the village took place around 1896. So in my dreams I would go there and everybody in the village was just living their lives there and when I arrived people were pretending that I am living there also and we would speak and I would go for walks through the village. In my dream it happened that it was always night when I arrived in the village. So it was the same thing every night....I was walking through the dark streets in the little village and every now and then met people on the streets and we talked. This dream drove me crazy after a while because it felt like I was living another life at night. This village was really like you would picture a village from 1896....no real streets, horses coming by, candle light in the cold and humid houses....and what fascinated me the most: there were those old street lights everywhere, the streetlights were shining at night and I was fascinated by watching the moths flying into the light, feeling that the moths were a part of myself. When I woke up in the morning I always felt the energy of the time....it was kinda dark and people lived in fear, yet there was the excitement of change in the air...
People were working behind the scenes on the most amazing new creations and I would carry that feeling with me into the day. Of course I knew that this repeating dream had to do with one of my own past lifetimes and that it was time to collect this aspect of mine and let go of having to go back to this village at night. But somehow I did not manage to fully integrate this aspect because the dream repeated itself over and over again. So one day I stood up in the morning and started painting. When I paint I never know in advance what I will paint, so when the painting was done I was amazed to see that it was my dream on canvas and I felt energy moving, knowing that something was in motion now regarding the integration of this aspect. Very shortly after finishing this painting I was laying on the couch at night together with a couple of friends. We had rented a DVD and the movie was called "The Prestige". I was really cosy under my blanket, sipping my tea as all of a sudden the tea in my cup started to jump out of my cup (this is the only way I know how to explain it now, the tea just got alive and jumped out of the cup!) I was like "huh?" and my friends and I talked about it. I felt that something was around me but did not pay too much attention, besides starting to breathe, and followed the movie. Then there came this scene in the movie where the Magician arrives in Colorado Springs to meet Tesla and it hit me like a hammer! This whole movie scene was the exact repeat of my dream and it even played in 1896!!! I just got smashed out of reality for a few minutes, breathing and integrating this thing, this aspect of myself, that had been in the room with me, impatiently waiting for me to integrate it and shaking up my tea to get attention! I was so excited and the rest of the evening I had a trip going with feelings and images rushing in. I just knew I had integrated this aspect of myself working with Tesla in 1896. After that I never ever dreamt about this village anymore."
What do you get when you cross two amazing artists with YouTube? Answer; the beautiful video below. Anthony has taken Jessica's paintings and woven them into this gorgeous little movie.
"Learn to PLAY with your doubts.
When that voice inside seems to want to stop you,
laugh and ask it to present it's case as to why you should not be the most amazing that you can be.
A Saint-Germain and Kuthumi Channel: “Master Creators in the Making”
Alexandra Mahlimay joins us again with another beautiful channel from Kuthumi. This year though Alexandra is joined by her partner Dan Bennack and Kuthumi blends with Saint-Germain to send their teachings out. Alexandra and Dan regularly hold channel sessions and schools in person and via the internet. This channel delightfully uses the analogy of the artist to teach the ways of new energy. Very Kuthumi! Here's a taste of the channel accompanied by a painting by Alexandra;
"When you are a conscious creator, you know that you are the artist. You know that you pick the medium and choose the tools for expressing your Self. And you are aware that you alone determine whether your creations, and your creating, will inspire you or not."
"Yes, you may feel like an artist without his or her familiar tools. But know that you have the possibility to create something completely different now – something that combines your knowledge, skills, and mastery in a new medium of creation."
Cowadunga!! A few years ago Kuthumi upon realising that he had been left out of a Crimson Circle gathering cried out to the world, "What am I? Cow dung anyway?" It has become something of a catchphrase for him since and here Kari Seppälä has designed a fabulous flyer for Kuthumi to promote himself.

'Pupsi' by Anthony Butkovich
"Another Kuthumi inspired painting I finished right after duck bunny....Was in a playful mood thinking of you, Kuthumi, Jessie and I...I don't recall much, other than having a blast playing."
Here is an acre with four stone walls, of pink granite they rise from the ground, And in each corner a sunken part lies, where secret places are found. Four silver pools each lined with gold with spiral fountains flowing, So light it up then, and what do you see? An amber glow is what we are showing.
Sixteen lavender gardens, sprigged with herbs - the sweetest of scents to desire. Four copper domes, with lids that flip back to create deep bowls of fire. Four sunken gardens with steps that lead down – wrought iron tipped they be, With four square lead planters on stone pedestals each housing a rounded bay tree.
Four cherry trees, blossoming pink, lit with diamond like light. Many pathways of old Cotswold stone so wander around if you might. On the ground there lie circles lit up from below with violet, red, blue, green and gold Each light reaching up high into the sky, a wonderful a sight to behold.
Two silver mirrors, both edged with lamps making each half of the circle so bright, And one slate roundel to soften the tone, but in plum stone to balance the light. Two blue hydrangeas, fulsome and round, their colour is never sedate, And to enter the garden you will pass these close by as you walk through the large iron gates.
Now there in the centre leading to a bright pool are deep steps, three in a square. Made of pure marble, gleaming and white, they provide also an elegant chair. And look deep in the pool, what do you see? A crystal pedestal shining, And all around there lie diamonds and silver, out of which a prism is rising. It is lit from below with bright LEDs so the light on the water does dance, Colours so bright, they leap and they skip, and through the prism they take their chance.
And finally here is a quiet place to rest, under a scholar tree, Sit on a swing adorned with blue velvet and stars and take some time to just be. Look in the leaves and watch the birds too, bathed in a hundred lights. Globe shaped they are, red, gold, green and blue, colouring the canopy bright.
And a little secret from me to you - a tiny place where you can catnap, Hidden behind the tree is an old oak bench, near a wooden gate crossing the gap, Surrounded by poppies and cornflowers too, it sings with the buzz of bees, A little place in a grand garden scheme; so simple, so secret, and free.
