Another Birthday Month!

Last month was the first birthday of the website and this month marks the first birthday of my first book with Kuthumi. I chose to celebrate by turning 39 and writing the final chapter of the 430-page adventure that is our latest book.  I am having a give-away to share the celebration and you can read about that at the end of the newsletter.

This month four amazing new energy artists join me. The first three are part of a video project that I took part in. Rupert Davis is a past interviewee whilst Yanna Volfinzon and Vicki Gratz join us for the first time. This is the first time I have collaborated with other artists and I could write a whole book on what this experience has been like.

The featured author for this month is Jayesh Corbetta. Jayesh was born in India and raised in Milan, Italy. He has just completed his first book combining his channeled writings and artwork. Jayesh writes in Italian and, even though I could not read most of the words, to see the Italian words for love, beauty, breath and creation accompanied by Jayesh’s playful illustrations was an amazing experience in itself. There was also that smell of Kuthumi within the pages!

New Energy Collaboration

Just over two months ago I was invited to take part in a video project with some other new energy artists.  Rupert Davis (who I interviewed in Nov '07) collected us from around the globe to take part. The brief was simple; let's create with joy. I knew Rupert's work and his gorgeous images of nature inspired me to head to the beach to write. There with waves crashing before me and a curious seagull watching close by the words just flowed. I am still in awe of how wonderfully the whole thing flowed and it has made me truly appreciate the technology that we have available to us all. The internet allowed us to move our contribiutions so quickly that the distance between us all became nothing. When I saw the completed video I could hardly believe that I had written the words. To have all our pieces woven together by Vicki so that my words danced with Yanna's music and entered the stage of Rupert's photos made them all so much grander.

Rupert (Photography, England); I really felt the essence of this project is for us to individually express the creativity of our soul and then to watch how this would all dance together. Our souls have so much to say, and they just love to be invited to express themselves, and in the process wash us in the grandest love and the softest touch. I just loved matching my pictures to Marisa's words, I guess because whilst doing this I was in the middle of this beautiful creative, new energy - my energy, flow, and also because I got a kick out of seeing how fast I just 'knew' which picture was to go where. It took me around 30 minutes! I can feel and see as well as sense the new energy that is woven throughout this creation. It's like being on a small boat in smoothly undulating waters. Beautiful.  What a wonderful team of creators.

Yanna (Music, Netherlands); When I received the first invitation from Rupert about the music, I was so happy, honored and excited. It felt like a new adventure, which I've never experienced before. The energy that Rupert had put together for this creation was very inspiring. Be who you are, express yourself fully, and let it flow and expand. I was sure I can make the music also without Marisa's lyrics and without seeing what pictures Rupert chose, but when I did receive them I was in awe of how deep it inspired me to write this piece. That was my first time of co-operating in a creation like this, and even to compose is new for me. It is an amazing discovery of joy for me to create together with three other master creators! The music was a Creation of the moment, I did not know what will come out, but I just chose to follow my heart, with the depths and playfulness of Marisa and Rupert, and to join their Masterpiece. I dived deeply into Marisa's words and the pictures of Rupert, which brought me an amazing feelings, and my master piece was created! The editing of of Vicki was like a hand of god (which she is) setting everything in the perfect place, creating the big picture of the celebration of life, of breath, of new energy. What an amazing discovery it was, and still continues to influence my life in every way imaginable.

Vicki (Video Editor, USA); Rupert had chosen the photos to go with Marisa’s words, but pacing is critical in editing, so now it was time for me to breath into Yanna’s music and feel how the images worked with the notes and phrases. Next it was time to weave Marisa’s words with the imagery. It was easy to get lost in my editing skills, typing text and setting key frames to animate the phrases. This is normally a project I could edit in one day, but I had to spread it out over three days. The energy was so intense I had to take breaks and step outside several times every day. When I finally got to the last slide I realized what an amazing work of art we had all created and I burst into tears!

What creativity do you play with? How and when did you get started?
Namaste! Well... since I was a very little child I have been painting and drawing for hours in my parent‘s shop. Colours have always been my way to express and show a part of myself, my passion, my soul and mind. So, when I was in my teenage I felt that this would had been my central passion, nevertheless I also have been thinking to write...so I tried and tried, poetry, little poems and music lyrics. At the present I still feel in love with arts, my own arts. I love not to be fixed in a way, but I am open to paint mandalas, abstract and figurative too...whatever I feel inspired I just let go, I start to work and I follow my own heart moment by moment. There are no reasons why I have choosen this way to express myself... but I can say that this is one of the most natural things I have been doing till now.

Why did you decide to write your book?
Since the quantum leap that occurred last year I felt the inspiration to put on paper the discourses of myself with myself and even consider it a channeling. Afterwords I could see that all those words made sense to me and they really resonate with my being, so I noticed that it were very basic and simple and I liked it and I thought that it could be helpful for those who might not have an idea about such “topics” or just find a further inspiration and a tool for their life.

What did you learn of your creativity while writing it?
The most interesting thing that I have learned in this my first full book is that to write and even to make whatever we like to do, that it is more simple to do, start and keep going rather then to think about it. I mean that while I was writting and breathing, words came out spontaneously without too much effort and I noticed that the mind is simply a tool and not our passionate source. I have learned also that what I am writting first is really something that regards Me, satisfied me, celebrates me and helps me and then it expands also for others.

Can you tell us about the “New Energy” scene in Italy?
Here in Italy there are more and more groups and individuals trying to access their consciousness. On the surface people in general still have lots of fears and spiritual people still have lots of attachments to ideas and rules, but yes, something new and amazing has started to work in most of the beings.

I am grateful with Marisa, Kuthumi and You all that have given me this opportunity to share my silly silly passion with You all.
